Antique Individual Glass Measures - Set of Four 1800s French Glass Pharmacy Measures in ORIGINAL STRAW WRAPPING - Antique Shot Glasses HC1

Made in the late 1800s for a Pharmacy in Saumur France, these little glass measures are marked for Coffee spoon, Dessert Spoon and Table spoon measures. Originally intended for dispensing medicines (castor oil springs to mind, yuk!), they would make excellent small kitchen measures or liqueur glasses.  Each measure is 50mm / 2" high and around 45mm / 1.75" diameter.

These still in what the seller described to us as "19th Century Bubble Wrap" !! -  with one full set of four measures still having the original straw woven around them for protection in transit. A very rare item and an unusual and fun talking point. We have one set wrapped and three others as single items should you wish to buy individually please select when ordering.

A beautiful addition for any collector of Pharmacy Jars and the like - we have not seen any others like these. Or use them as the most unusual shot glasses your guests will ever see.....

Your purchase will be very carefully packaged in recycled packaging where possible and despatched via the Irish An Post postal service or reputable courier service.
