Antique french blue transfer ware by BF Co. This ANEMONE pattern jug or pitcher features bouquets of anemone tied with trailing ribbon. A number of different butterflies are featured on the handle, lip and front of this beautifully shaped pitcher.
This is a fantastic 'squat' Jug or Pitcher that would be a beautiful addition to any collection or used as a decorative piece to enhance a kitchen or any other room in the house.
The dimensions are 5.75" / 148mm high, 8.5" / 215mm long handle to spout and 7" / 180mm wide.
This has a real dark blue transfer decoration that would give it great impact on any table - especially enhanced as it is, with the beautiful butterflies flying around it. Other than a very small hairline crack to the rim, the jug is in very good condition for its age.
