Vintage French Copper Chafing Dish - Warming Dish - Table Server - Bain Marie - Spirit Burner Warmer - K399

This is the best example of a copper warming dish with a burner that we have ever found. It really is a beautiful item in its own right - with the added bonus that you can own a great piece of unusual kitchenware and impress your friends at the same time.

The bowl has a great inner liner where food is kept warm with heated water underneath and the best engineered burner below that we have ever seen. The burner has a clever handle that is used to flip the lid to extinguish the flame when it is no longer needed. The outer bowl is copper with brass handles; the inner lining is a silver metal.

We  have tried it ourselves and it works very well, we would keep it but Old Irish Houses have small kitchens.
 
As you can see, we haven't really polished it but we know it will look even better when it is...................

The dimensions are 9" / 230mm high and the bowl has a diameter of 9.5" / 242mm.

This item is certainly usable as is and we would have no problem doing so ourselves.
