For CHASE Large French Vintage Pennant Banners or Bunting

A superb Vintage collection of eleven large celebration pennants or banners or flags from France, including one depicting the crest of Joan of Arc (Jeanne D'Arc). A rare opportunity to buy such decorative pennant flags which could be used to dress an outdoor or indoor space for a gathering or party.

Made of stitched cotton, each pennant is made in two parts joined down the centre with a French Seam and attached to a wooden pole with metal eyes for hanging at each end. The one with the Joan of Arc heraldry is of a finer linen/cotton, again stitched down the middle with a wooden baton that has lighter wood decorative finials at each end. In total there are eleven pennants:

One blue and white with crest for Joan of Arc printed on the fabric on both sides. The banner is 45.5inches (115 cm) of fabric at the longest point and 15" (38 cm) wide.
Three double-white. Fabric length to longest point is 66" (168 cm)  and width I 21" at the top (53.5 cm) 
Seven Yellow and White. Fabric Hanging length is 62" (157.5 cm) and 18" or 45.5 cm wide at the top.

These are vintage pennants that have been used and show signs of use. We have not washed them; they are in completely original condition. The set of eleven is for sale as one lot.
The set of 11 pennants weighs 1.6 kilograms.
