A collection of three Antique Spanish Branding Irons. Carefully hand forged in Spain in the Nineteen-Tens, these Irons have had their working day and now make unusual decorative pieces for the home, office or "man cave". A great talking point. Two have replacement handles at some point as the originals had decayed too much.
One is AS, another YC and the last is a C. These are great rustic items that would make great additions to a collection or decoration in a man cave or farmhouse. The single C is 19" or 500mm long and the C is 2.5" or 60mm high, the AS is 17.5" or 435mm long and the letters 4.2" or 105mm wide and 2.5" or 60mm high, and finally YC is 16.5" or 420mm long, the letters are 4.25" or110mm wide and 2.75" or 70mm high.
These branding irons could still be used today for marking on wooden packing crates, boxes, clapboard, etc.
