A wonderful old reproduction made of paper maché or wood pulp for wall hanging. An antique in its own right, it is actually a reproduction of a favourite 17th century decoration.
This Cherub or Putti is in the Dutch or Flemish style, hand decorated with a well worn gilt finish.
This item is 100+ years old and has been very well cared for indicating that it has held a special place in the heart. A beautiful, aged piece, delicately crafted by hand.
Measuring 7"/17.5cm high by 8.5"/21.5cm wide and just under 4.5"/11.5cm deep, the item without packaging weighing a heavy 250grams.
