This fox fur jacket comes from the 1930's and was made in France. While we do not support and modern day fur trade, we feel that items from 50 years ago, or older, deserve to be given respect and be loved for what they are. The jacket here has been pre-owned and pre-adored; our stocks of original vintage items will never, ever be replaced by new or modern items.
Designed in France in the 1930's, this jacket is made from natural fox fur in a mix of browns and honey colours; it has a wide collar and deep slit pockets that are concealed, running down the side seams of the jacket. The jacket does show signs of wear on the cuffs some other high wear areas, and the button closure needs to be repaired. The buttons themselves are wood effect with clever counter-sunk holes where they are sewn on. There is some staining on the inside front of the lining, where something has leaked in the pocket; it is all cleaned but still stained. The lining is of a heavy dark brown satin in very good condition and the maker's label is 'Panther Club'. A nice, heavy winter jacket that repacked down to mid-thigh to keep the cold winter winds at bay.
The jacket would suit a US Size 6 to 8; a UK size 10 to 12.
