Antique Children's Boots : French Childs / Boys Boots with Studs - Hob Nail Boots - Studded Antique Boots - KC2/56
Stunning - museum quality Antique child's leather boots with studs. These boots are made from strong black leather with leather soles and heels. Both the soles and heels are attached with nails to the boot and the sole has raised metal studs to ensure that these boots would just about never wear out. Although they are in exceptionally good condition and could be worn today, they would more likely be used in a decorative manner - shop window display, shoe shop decoration, film or theatre props.
These Boots are marked / Stamped on the insole Metric Size 26 : US child size 9 : UK child size 8.5. There is also a number two (2) stamped under this that my have been the cobbler's mark.
They weigh 450grms and are 180mm / 7" long and 145mm / 5.7" high with a width of 70mm / 2.75".
The shoe stretchers in the photographs are not included in this sale.
