Golden Fox Fur and Satin - Classic 1950s French Vintage Fox Fur - Long

This fox fur jacket comes from the town of Saumur in France, on the banks of the Loire River. It was made in the Nineteen Fifties. While we do not support and modern day fur trade, we feel that items from 50 years  ago, or older, deserve to be given respect, and be loved for what they are. The jacket here has been pre-owned and appreciated for many years; our stocks of original vintage items will never, ever be replaced by new or modern items. No 'retro', no 'vintage style' - all are pure, real vintage.

A beautifully designed ladies jacket in Golden Fox Fur, fully lined with a blush shade of heavy satin. All original, both the gorgeously coloured outer fur and the lining are in exceptionally good, pre-owned vintage condition. The jacket has a wide collar and lapels, and has the original two hinged-clip fastenings. Two hidden, deep side slit pockets are concealed, running down the side seams of the jacket. This jacket is over 70 years old and in extremely good condition; there is some slight wear on the inside of the cuffs, not seen when wearing or hanging. The jacket is of a longer length, coming to around mid-thigh. A very classy, real original vintage jacket that would make a perfect winter gift.
