Original 1970s painting - oil on artist's board by Irish artist F McHenry; this is a study of a coastal Irish Castle. The painting is in an impressionist style, using some very pretty blues, greys and hues of green. It brings to mind a summer afternoon on the coast with the possibility of a shower to come.

This original piece of Irish art would be ideal for anyone wishing to have a piece of art depicting the Irish coastline and buildings. It is in beautiful condition as can be seen on the photos and would be a good investment for a collector or a high quality starter piece.

There are original the hooks and cord on the reverse of the frame for hanging. It is 41cm or about 16" high by 57cm or which is about 22.5". It is in the original very substantial, ornate gilded wooden frame. The painting weighs over 2kg without packaging.
