Set of Six Large Antique French Furniture Handles - Three Pairs with 3 Keyhole Escutcheons - in a Rococo Style - D3/119

A set of antique furniture handles from France that would suit a three drawer chest or similar. The set comprises six handles - three pairs - and three keyhole escutcheons. The design is a Classical Rococo with swirling lines and Acanthus leaves. The handles are drilled with three holes on each side for fixing, the escutcheons have one hole each at the top and the bottom to secure them. 

The handles and escutcheons are made of cast Bronze, with a dark patina on the dips and recesses in the design. The parts of the bronze that is raised are in the natural golden bronze colour and the set together would lift a piece of ordinary furniture into a different category altogether, giving it an instant, Classical uplift.

The handles measure 3.25" high by 9.75" wide and the handle depth is about 1.5" - (8 x 24.5 x 4 cm). The escutcheons measure 3" high by 1.75" wide (7.5 x 4.5cm) and are oval in shape with a finial at the top and the bottom. The complete set together weighs 1.3 kg without any packaging.
