French Mid Century / Vintage Taxidermy Male Cockerel - Rooster - on flat base TX1/74

 

This very handsome Young Cockerel has been well modelled by a skilful taxidermist to achieve a good looking piece that would make a great addition to any collection or display - or look very fine indeed on his own.

This is a typical piece of French sympathetic taxidermy from the nineteen fifties -  he is really very good looking - a wonderful piece that we would love to see go to a good home. He is in very good order other than some rubbing to the edges of the composite wooden base. The French love their poultry and have the Cockerel as their National Symbol.

Dimensions are 14" / 35cm long beak to tail, 15" / 38cm high and the wood is around 7" / 18cm wide. The weight without packaging is 0.6 kg.

The item will be carefully packed ( if possible using recycled materials ) and shipped using the Irish Postal system An Post.
